National camps portal, mostly Luxembourgish
colonies.lu
What it offers
The national portal for residential holiday camps, run by the Service national de la jeunesse. It lists weekends, camps and colonies with at least one night away, from several youth organisations, for ages 4 to 17 and some for older young people. Most programmes are described in Luxembourgish; the language of the activities isn't stated.
Practical details
- What it is: one place to find residential camps from organisations such as the Croix-Rouge de la Jeunesse, youngcaritas, Groupe Animateur, natur&ëmwelt, the UGDA music school and the Service national de la jeunesse itself. Each organiser runs and is responsible for its own camp.
- Languages: the site doesn’t say which language each camp is run in. Almost all descriptions are in Luxembourgish. Ask the organiser before booking.
- How to book: from each programme’s page on colonies.lu. Full programmes offer a waiting list.
